I refuse to be Bridezilla

Things are going well and thus no need to break out the sharp teeth or green leathery skin.
  • I'm almost done with the program and am working on a fun thing for the reception that I'm not yetready to reveal.
  • Favors are here and they look good, as well as bridesmaid and groomsman gifts.
  • The RSVP date is coming up and it looks like we'll be making a few calls, but no worries about too many people showing up. I think we'll be lucky if we make 50% of our invitees. Maybe it's due to the holiday weekend, but whatever the reason, it won't be too big.
  • Honeymoon reservations are taken care of. We are really splurging on our hotel in Arran, but as D points out, when are we going to do this again? (I said what about our second honeymoon, but it will be a few years before we can afford it...)
  • Centerpieces are a work in progress. I'm borrowing some things, buying some things, making some things...should look great, though.
  • Flowers are decided upon and paid for. Groovy.
  • Helpers are being chosen/delegated.
  • Pianist is located and music is chosen.
  • Readings are chosen.

Thank goodness school is over. Now I can devote the next 2 1/2 weeks to making the wedding as stress-free and beautiful as possible.

Perhaps it's the country worth of distance between us, but you've been quite calm; no signs of Bridezilla yet. Kudos!

Arran is beautiful, it was probably my favorite part of Scotland. There are some great short hikes to groups of standing stones that are almost entirely deserted. It's magical.
