Sweet dreams are made of this

I can tell that I've accepted that the challenge of school is over for now. How do I know? Because I was sufficiently not worried about school, I had my first wedding-gone-wrong dream last night. These dreams happen to me whenever I am about to have a big change, or start something new. This time it was that the bridesmaids all showed up in the wrong fabric, but at least they were all the same, and I was able to shrug it off in dream-world. (Ladies, it was forest green velvet. This isn't a premonition, is it?) Seemingly a lesser problem, I dreamt that I was an hour late for my hair appointment. Strangely, this upset me more than the bridesmaid fabric mix-up. Don't ask me to explain, I just live here.

A teacher at school made our unity candle and tapers for us, and they are just gorgeous. She put one of the invitations on the front and added some white fabric flowers and clear glitter. I can't describe them properly, but they look beautiful.

Dress is currently in my car until I go to my alteration appointment tonight. Want me to head out and check that the fabric hasn't morphed overnight? :)

what!? no forest green velvet in iowa in july!? i feel jipped! at least my dress got made with the right side of the fabric facing out. wouldn't that have looked funny!? i'm going to look funny enough as it is...all big in front, and apparently in back, too, according to one of the teachers here at school.

I assure you I have the right color dress, and it turned out beautifully! And I understand being upsent about missing hair appointments. That would upset me more than the wrong bridesmaid dresses for sure.

So, how do you feel about plaid?

I'm not saying that I have exchanged my dress for a plaid mini-skirt, knotted white shirt and pigtails, but I'm not saying I haven't either...
