First cold of the year

Here it is, ladies and gentlemen: the first cold of the school year and definitely not the last. Don't feel nearly bad enough to miss school (plus I'm keeping things in order now that the other teacher isn't here) but bad enough to make going to school not the most fun thing in the world.

That's no fun. I had a pretty bad cold in Italy - and during my vacation no less. It led to some interesting "Dammit, I'm going to get out and enjoy this town even if it kills me" days.

I hear ya. I went to dinner club last night at Dave's, after I was told that not attending was not an option. Problem is, I like my friends. They make me laugh. Laughing makes me cough. You see where this is going. My whole body hurts today. But dinner with friends was worth it. Even though it almost killed me.

Feel better Suzanne!

Welcome to teaching! Buy (and use) Sudafed. It works like a charm, at least it does for me. Rest when you can. Drink lots of water and/or juice. Flush that virus out of your system!

Glad things are continuting to go well at the fort.
